Japan is providing support to teachers of mathematics and science education through a trainers’ programme.
Yasuhiko Wada, who works for JICA, the Japanese aid agency, told SCR News that the institution provides mathematic and science education in south Sudan by training teachers’ trainers for both GoSS and the state governments.Mr. Wada added that there are many other donors who are involve in education sector in South Sudan.
He said JICA is running five programmes in South Sudan.
JICA is in Juba since 2007 to provide for basic human needs and assistance to conflict affected people.
