Eastern Equatoria parliament condemned the killing of five innocent passengers on Monday in Budi County.
Speaker Ambrose Emmanuel Ocholimoi announced that security personnel were hunting for the suspected killers, Emmanuel Radio reported.He said the attack on a passenger’s vehicle that claimed the lives of five people in Budi County occurred near the spot where a driver was attacked and two police officers killed.
Mr. Ocholimoi termed the attackers enemies of the people whose target is to cause instability.
An eyewitness said the ambush took place on Monday at 1:00 PM near Old Forakasika on the Camp 15-Chukudum road, and the victims were in a car travelling from Kapoeta to Torit.
