AMDISS, the Association for Media Development in South Sudan, is opening its next Board Meeting to promote a public discussion on the right to freedom of expression, right to equality, right to Information and economic, social and cultural rights.
The debate that takes place in Juba next week is part of a civil society initiative on broad based consultations on the interim constitution review process that is taking place.AMDISS invites civil society groups, media outlets, constitutional lawyers and media law advocates, experts and academics in constitutional law, media and mass communications to attend an open session on February 25.
Non-members and members of the public are also invited to take part as observers in the AMDISS Board Meeting on February 24.
