The Catholic bishop of Yei said there is no need for southern Sudan to return to war.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe said Southerners are all one in the country and peace has to prevail in the southern Sudan.He added that the clashes that are taking place in Jonglei are not acceptable.
He urged people to fight through their prayers and not with guns.
Bishop Lodu invited people from the neighbouring countries to come and join in the reconstruction of South Sudan.
The bishop of Yei made these remarks yesterday during his Sunday homily in Christ the King parish.
