The governor of Eastern Equatoria called on the constitutional review committee to consider the decentralization of all governance system in South Sudan.
Louise Lobong Lojore told the attendance at the official launch of the Juba-Nimule road asphalting that Eastern Equator citizens are demanding an inclusive Constitution that decentralizes the governance and allows a fair share of resources, Bakhita Radio reported.Mr. Lobong revealed that his state was ready to accept the capital of southern Sudan somewhere in Eastern Equatoria.
Mr. Lobong appealed to the government of South Sudan to host the independence celebration in Torit.
He added that Torit was a historic town where the first bullet of the liberation movement was fired.
Mr. Lobong concluded that the final bullet of the war was also short in Torit and many other historic events took place in the capital city of Eastern Equatoria.
