Juba residents reacted positively towards a cleaning campaign carried out by students that collected rubbish in the main areas of the capital.
Traffic police Fancis Kenyi told SCR News he was happy to see students picking refuse in the streets of Muduria area.He added that the cleaning campaign would combat the spread of diseases.
Zachariah Abu Shakar said cleaning is a responsibility of every citizen to keep the cities safe.
Mr. Shakar said the government should enforce compulsory hygiene laws to keep the place clean.
Secondary students from three schools today took part in an initiative to keep Juba clean.
