GoSS ministry of Health started distributing ten mobile clinics donated by the Arab League last year.
Undersecretary Olivia Lomoro told SCR News that her ministry issued six mobile clinics to Central, Eastern and Western Equatoria, Jonglei, Lakes and Warrap states, one to the SPLA and another to South Sudan Police Service.Dr. Lomoro said Upper Nile, Unity, Western and Northern Bahr al Ghazal had already one mobile clinic each since last year.
The remaining two vehicles stay at the ministry to be used in emergency operations.
Dr. Lomoro said each mobile clinic has a driver, a medical doctor, a nurse and a pharmacist.
She added that the ministry of Health will organize a workshop to train the teams on how to use the clinics.
