Administration of Wau Teaching Hospital in collaboration with High Cap Organization is conducting three-day COVID- 19 training to health personnel.
The workshop brought together 30 participants from hospital including doctors, nurses, and support staff, Voice of Hope Radio reported.
Medical Director for Outpatient Department Dr Akol Marial Akech said the course is about infection, control and case management of corona virus.
The aim of this training is to help health personal to protect themselves, patients and the community, he added.
Dr Marial urged communities to stop ignoring covid-19 preventive measures because it is a killer disease.
The official made the remarks on Monday morning to Voice of Hope Radio in Wau Teaching Hospital.
