The referendum authorities are announcing tomorrow in Juba the results of the vote that concluded two weeks ago.
The results from the over 2,600 polling centres across South Sudan are disclosed by Justice Chan Reec Madut at late Dr. John Garang’s Mausuleum after 10 AM.The head of the referendum commission Mohammed Ibrahim Khalil will declare the results from Northern Sudan and the eight countries abroad.
The programme includes prayers by Christian and Muslim leaders, traditional dancers and speeches by representatives from the UN, EU, UNMIS, Arab League, US and President Salva Kiir Mayardit.
