FOUR EASTERN EQUATORIA COUNTIES HAND IN PRELIMINARY REFERENDUM RESULTS

Magwi, Kapoeta North, Kapoeta South and Lopa/Lafon counties join other districts in Eastern Equatoria to hand in preliminary referendum results.

Kapoeta South and Kapoeta North counties referendum officials arrived Torit town with their results on Monday at one in the afternoon, while Magwi, which has the largest number of voters in the state, arrived at 4 PM, Emmanuel Radio reported.

The results from the three counties saw yet another massive pro-independence vote.

Preliminary results for Lopa/Lafon County arrived at 6:00 PM on Monday.

Torit and Ikoto were the first counties to bring in their referendum results.

Only Kapoeta East and Budi counties’ results are missing.
