Government hands over raided cows to Anyar Ngoung Commissioner in Tonj

Authorities of Tonj on Monday handed over ninety-eight cows to John Malong Machut, Commissioner of Anyar Ngoung County in Gok state including five culprits accused of stealing the cows.

 
According to Don Bosco Radio, the handing was done after the government of Tonj and Gok States collected the raided cattle from the thieves one month ago, including the boy who was looking after the cows in the field.
 
The government will make sure that all culprits from both sides are identified and they are brought to the book, said Santino Ding Wek, Deputy Governor of Tonj who witnessed the event.
 
William Wol Mayom, Tonj Information Minister commented that the government has discovered plans of raiders to exchange cattle between the two states.
 
John Malong Machut, Commissioner of Anyar Ngoung County expressed happiness over the return cattle.
