THE CITIZEN NEWSPAPER NOW PRINTED IN JUBA

The Citizen newspaper has for the first time being printed in Juba after six years of its operation from Khartoum.

The Citizen newspaper is the only newspaper so far printed in Southern Sudan.

Remote areas of the south will now have access to information says Nhial Bol, the chief editor and owner of the paper. He expects the newspaper to cover most parts of Southern Sudan.

Mr. Nhial explained that printing The Citizen in Juba makes distribution easier and faster and he hopes to cover more areas of South Sudan, apart from Juba, Wau and Malakal.

The Citizen is printed in Juba since Saturday, in a total of over 1500 copies per day.
