Returnees who arrived in Tonj South County are complained about shortage of food.

Sultan Dut Makuei said that the food rations the returnees got have already finished, Don Bosco FM reported.

Sultan Makuei added that the county administration promised bulls, but gave only one when the returnees arrived.

He appealed to the administrators to supply returnees with enough food.

Sultan Makuei said the returnees were concerned to get plots for their settlement.

He appreciated the reception done by nongovernmental organizations, county administrators and the community of Tonj South.

Sultan Nyiang Nyiang said that he felt at home because the children move freely without the police arresting them like in Khartoum.

Sultan Nyiang added that they sleep well and get clean water.

Sultan Nyiang said people are busy with the referendum voting and he hopes to get changes after it ends.

He remarked that some returnees were already reunited with their relatives.
