The prisoners of Tonj composed a song to get ready for the vote in which they are taking part from inside the prison walls.
The inmates are ready to cast their vote and are looking forward to make their choice, Don Bosco Radio reported.Inmate Peter Akot Aker said he and his fellow prisoners would vote in the prison.
Mr. Akot added that he hoped that their votes as well as the votes of those outside the prison wall would separate South Sudan from the North.
A street party for the referendum was held last night in Tonj Freedom Square, just outside the prison walls.
