A former legislator in Southern Sudan Parliament said the graduates are the leaders of today and tomorrow.

Gabriel Matur Malek made this statement during the graduation ceremony of 30 students from Greater Bahr el Ghazal who concluded their studies at Upper Nile University, Voice of Love reported.

Mr. Matur thanked the Upper Nile University administration and academic staff for making the graduation ceremony a success by educating young people for the development of south Sudan.

He told the graduates to keep away from tribal politics and work for the good of the people of south Sudan.

Mr. Matur urged the graduates to support the SPLM and give it the benefit of the doubt because the party brought the CPA to the people in the region.

He said that SPLM needed more time to lay down democratic institutions in the region..

Mr. Matur told the crowd that South Sudan has been independent since the signing of the CPA and during the interim period.
