The referendum authorities announced yesterday that they were distributing the final ballot materials today in Western Equatoria and Upper Nile states.
Southern Sudan Referendum Bureau chief Chan Reec Madut said the distribution of voting materials to the referendum centres across South Sudan was almost complete.Justice Reec added that the training for polling officials would be completed by Thursday.
He added that financial officers were making preparations to welcome auditors who are coming to check how the referendum money was managed.
Justice Reec confirmed that the Khartoum government did not released yet the funds it was supposed to provide for the referendum.
He added that the bureau would use the little money available to make the process a success.
