The catholic diocese of Yei concludes tomorrow the 101 Days of Prayer towards a Peaceful Referendum in Sudan under the theme “Change your heart change the world.”
The prayer marathon which was officially launched at Yei Freedom Square on September 21, UN’s International Day of Peace, will be concluded tomorrow on the World Peace Day at Christ the King Parish.Fr. Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit, Yei Pastoral Coordinator, told Easter Radio that the closing of this prayer will be celebrated under the theme of the World Day of Peace: Religious freedom the path to peace.
Fr. Lodongo added that on January 1 people remember many things: New Year, the dedication to Mary Mother of God and peace day.
He said the concluding mass will be presided by Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe of Yei.
Concluding celebrations will take place in many other dioceses and parishes across Sudan.
