The Secretary General of the Arab League arrived today in Juba to meet with the South Sudan leadership and assess preparations for the referendum.
Amr Moussa told the press at Juba International airport that the Arab League delegation would discuss the cooperation between the two organs and the upcoming events connected with the vote on self-determination.Mr Moussa said the Arab League would send more than one hundred observers next week to monitor the referendum.
He added that some observers would be assigned to the Diaspora although not to all eight countries where the vote takes place.
