FUTURE OF SOUTH SUDAN LIES ON WOMEN’S HANDS

The future of Southern Sudan lies on women’s hands because they are the majority and they should choose their future at the referendum vote and honour those who died for the right to decide the political destiny and identity of South Sudan.

Awut Deng Acuil, an MP in Southern Sudan Legislative Assembly and GoSS Minister of Labour and Public Service, made this statement to SCR News while appealing to women to vote in the referendum.

Madame Awut urged the women to be the first at the Referendum centres on voting days.

Madame Awut said the vote is about women’s future, their identity, their children, land and territory.

Madame Awut said Christmas is a time for joy and happiness.

She urged all Southern Sudanese to enjoy Christmas.
