Students at the Catholic University of the Sudan showed solidarity with children in Juba’s hospitals and orphanage and other paatients.
A group of students visited El-Sabah Children hospital, the orphanage and Juba Teaching hospital to greet them with Christmas songs and sweets, Bakhita Radio reported.The visit that lasted three days concluded yesterday with the visit to patients at Juba Teaching Hospital.
Ganun Victor chairs the Students Union at the Catholic University. He said the students wanted to identify themselves with the orphans and the sick this Christmas season through the visit that he qualified as a caring act.
Mr. Ganun revealed that the visit to the orphanage meant to show to the kids that they cared for them, that they were like their parents.
During their visits, the students offered prayers, songs and some sweets and bananas to the orphans and patients.
