Shortages of water hits Aguka Payam, says Tonj Commissioner

Communities of Aguka Payam are suffering from the shortage of water, says Commissioner of Tonj County.
 
Severino Philip Bazia on Thursday told Don Bosco Radio that the three boreholes which were in use in that area had broken down.
 
He appeals to concerned authorities in the state to help the communities of Aguka Payam by repairing the boreholes to save lives of the people.
 
The Commissioner urges the state authorities to send police force to Aguka Payam because the place is about 26 miles from the state headquarters.
 
Philip also complains that the health situation is worsening in the region.
 
He appreciates that people of Aguka has cultivated more food for this year.
 
The commissioner mentions that there is no security threat in the Payam making people live peacefully.
 
He was talking to Don Bosco Radio on Thursday in Tonj.
