Yei River State evaluates health projects

The Ministry of Health in Yei River and Health Consortium held a one-day evaluation meeting on Wednesday to evaluate Health Pooled Fund Phase Two projects in the state.
 
The assessment meeting was to find out the performance of the project to ease planning for the next project.
 
Kogo Manasseh Levy, Minister of Health of Yei River, while opening the meeting expresses commitment to extend the next phase to all counties of the state.
 
The phase two of the projects will end in September and the next phase will state in October this year, according to the minister.
 
Yei River State is one of the beneficiaries of the Health Pooled Fund a consortium of donors extended to South Sudan.
 
The donors include United State Agency for International Development or USAID and Swedish International Development.
 
Health Pooled Fund phase two operates in eight of the 10 former states and is financing 21 partners to support primary health care services in 1,063 facilities including 14 hospitals across 55 counties.
