About one hundred and twenty SPLA-IO soldiers have joint the government force in Amadi State since the beginning of this year, confirms Deputy Governor.

Manasseh Doboi says the result followed government continuous call to armed opposition to return and work for development.

He appreciates efforts of the Inter-faith Committee that visited the state last month to build peace.

The Deputy Governor accuses the armed opposition forces of still attacking people on Amadi-Juba road.

He cites the recent ambush between Karika and Kotobi where they detained a truck coming from Yambio with teaks.

Doboi calls on religious leaders, inter-church committee and the civil society organizations to help the state government in building peace.

The Deputy Governor was speaking to Anisa Radio in a telephone interview from Amadi State.
