Referendum official said over 420 thousand citizens have their names in Central Equatoria’s referendum books to vote for south Sudan self-determination.
Manase Lomole Waya is the Chairman of the Referendum High Committee in Central Equatoria state. He told Bakhita Radio that over 420 thousand are registered to vote in the upcoming referendum.Mr. Lomole called on the registered citizens to keep their voting cards safe in order to participate in the plebiscite.
He warned the citizens who allegedly sold their voting cards that they were selling their birthrights and playing with the future of South Sudan.
Mr. Lomole concluded that those who sell their voting cards are endangering the nation and the referendum process.
