Unknown gunmen yesterday attacked a Church vehicle along the Camp 15-Kapoeta road, injuring the driver.
The incidence that happened at 2:30 PM left one staff working for Justice and Peace Department in the Diocese of Torit injured on the hand, Emmanuel Radio reported.The injured official is receiving treatment at Kapoeta Mission Hospital.
The vehicle was travelling from Torit to Kapoeta.
A local correspondent said the attack took place close to the recently built mobile phone mast along the Camp 15-Kapoeta road.
Earlier on the day another vehicle was attacked around the same area leaving one person dead and a 10-year old boy injured.
This is the fourth road attack in nine days in Eastern Equatoria.
