Director urges communities to report criminal activities

Torit state Director General for local Government and law enforcement agencies is calling on the local population to report immoral activities happening in their localities to the concern authorities.
 
Mustafa Albino believes reporting mal practices to authority will help lessen insecurity threats in the state.
 
He appreciates the people of Morwari residential area for building community policing relation with the concern authorities.
 
‘The security is a collective responsibility if you who are in the blocks are reporting criminal activities which are happening to the Government I belief crimes which are happening will reduce, crime will reduce good example is the case of Morwari, Morwari has implemented and Ilangi they have implemented the community police relation responsibility in a at least to some extend’
 
Albino says his ministry is committed to supporting residential areas and empowers them on how to monitor criminal activities. 
 
He applauds the people of Torit town for participating actively in raising security concerns taking place in their residencial areas.
 
‘I belief that this meeting is very important because most of the people have participated actively especially the women your participation is very important that means you are actually understand your role and responsibilities and I would like to assure you that the ministry of local Government will not hesitate to give you any support in the blocks’
