GoSS ministry of Higher Education sent off university students to three state capitals to register for the referendum.

Three hundred students were dispatched to Juba, Upper Nile and Bahr el Ghazal upon arrival to Juba international Airport today.

Mou Mou Athian Kuol told reporters that GoSS organized for the students’ flights to Juba.

Mr. Koul expressed that the comeback of the students was a coincidence and blessings to the region in the last day of the voter registration.

He urged the public to receive the students with respect and dignity since some have adapted different lifestyles and cultures.

Mr. Kuol added that the holiday would give GoSS time to plan and prepare lecture halls in Southern Universities to accommodate the students to avoid congestions.

Today marked the last day of voter registration with many southerners in the north still struggling to register in south Sudan.
