South Sudan Media Authority has acknowledged the role played by CRN in providing information services to communities across the country.
Board of Director’s Chairperson Justice Atong Majok Kur recognizes the contributions made by partners for the development of media in South Sudan.
She adds that without their support the Media Authority would have achieved nothing.
Meanwhile, CRN Director Mary Ajith calls for commitment from all stakeholders.
Ajith urges the Media Authority to follow the law and priorities on the wellbeing and security of journalists.
The officials spoke during the World Press Freedom Day in Juba on Thursday, under the theme Keeping Power in Check: Media, Justice and the Rule of Law.
