Citizens call on government to stop parties in Wau

Citizens in Wau State complain that night party of youth known as DJ has become a main challenge to families and the community at large.
 
One of the very disappointed mothers says the party has seriously spoiled their sons and daughters, Voice Hope Radio reports.
 
Girls are raped or they knife themselves, government should stop DJ by all means.
 
The government should rescue children who are now growing up from that culture.
 
It is very difficult for them as sheikhs in the residential areas to stop the issue of parties at nights because it has powers behind and it is the responsibility of government, says Sheikh.
 
He accuses security organs of being behind the night parties in residential which makes it difficult for citizens to stop.
 
Minister of Gender, Child and Social Development Christina Gabriel says the night parties of youth in Wau have become a challenge to the generation because it is bringing bad images to families.
 
There is need for elders and the government to join hands together to fight such culture among youths for the future of tomorrow.
 
Minister Christina Gabriel urged the parents, community in the areas and all sheikhs of the areas to help on the issue of DJ for batter future of growing up generations.
