UNFPA expresses willingness to continue supporting Torit health institute

The United Nations Population Fund or UNFPA says it will continue supporting Torit Health Science Institutes.
 
Midwife Consultant and UNFPA Focal Person in Torit, Zinash Ayalne says her organization is ready to advance students’ performance and skills in their field of studies.
 
She adds that UNFPA will provide scholastic materials to the students.
 
Although the process of getting funds and putting in place take time because of some challenges but still UNFPA is supporting the institutes by providing some midwifery training and share experience. UNFPA staffs in Torit state hospital will continue doing clinical mentorship and instructions.”
 
The Midwife Consultant says UN agency emphasizes much on midwifery program as its major mission.
 
“UNFPA have been supporting the health institutes in South Sudan since 2012 later on try to support four more health institutes in the country and Torit health institutes.”
 
UNFPA representative appreciates the state government and other non-governmental organization for working hard for the smooth running of the institute.
 
The speaker made the remarks during a swearing ceremony of new executive body of Torit Health institute in Torit on Wednesday.
