The World Food Programme (WFP) in south Sudan had been ordered by the GoSS ministry of Humanitarian Affairs to distribute food to all returnees regardless of being spontaneous or organised.
Stans Yatta, director of the Central Equatoria Relief and Rehabilitation Commission, told SCR News that the WFP had declined to supply food for almost seven days adding that the UN agency has been asked to feed all returnees.A group of returnees who came from Khartoum two weeks ago jammed Central Equatoria Returnees Rehabilitation Commission office in Juba to ask for urgent food support in order to get settled in their places of origin.
