The Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio is calling on South Sudanese to be united despite the differences, so that peace and development can be realized.
Fr. Ezekiel Sungerukuari, Diocesan Chancellor of Tombura-Yambio says, the diocese and the Government of Tombura State have agreed to have dialogue to discuss how they can bring development in to the newly created Tombura State.
Fr. Sungerukuari discloses that the diocese is not closing its activities in Tombura State because the parishes that have priests will continue to offer services to the community in Tombura State.
Anikumbo Mathew Aime Tombura State Information Minister mentions that the State Government is working hard to normalize the situation between the leaderships of the Church and the government.
The Minister reveals that citizens should not worry of the situation because the government is working to find peaceful resolutions to any misunderstandings.
