GoSS minister of information assured foreigners that they would be protected together with their property during the referendum process.
Talking to SCR News, Barnaba Marial Benjamin said that police was trained to ensure that the process goes peacefully although he confirmed that there would be no violence whatsoever.
It is reported that a number of foreigners especially East Africans are already leaving the South Sudan in fear of post-referendum violence.
The Catholic Radio Network (CRN) is a media project constituted by community-based radio stations broadcasting in Frequency Modulation from Juba, Yei, Torit, Yambio, Rumbek, Tonj, Wau, and Malakal.
