Suspected referendum voter card buyers are being hunted for by the community in Lainya County, Central Equatoria State.
Lokulenge Lole is the secretary of Civil Society Coalition fro the Referendum. He told participants at the Freedom March yesterday in Juba that certain individuals were suspected of trying to buy voter registration cards in Lainya County.Mr. Lole said that community members were tracking them down in order to arrest them.
He urged the people of Southern Sudan to be patient till the voting day arrives and not to exchange their freedom for money.
Mr. Lole said buying referendum cards was the one of the main strategies used by the enemies of the referendum to invalidate the process.
