Some Youth on social media WhatsApp known as ‘Gbudue State Forum’, has contributed 34,000 South Sudanese Pounds to support teachers who are preparing candidates for the coming National Examinations in the state.

The contribution aims at carrying awareness to the young people about the importance of education to a nation, says Bausumo Abuida Eliaba, the Administrator of the forum, Anisa Radio reports.

He pledges to purchase power to support the candidates in their studies at night.

Abuida argues that their initiative is not politically motivated, but an idea from the local citizens to support the future generation.

He encourages the students to focus more in education despite the challenges facing them.

The Administrator of the forum believes South Sudan is experiencing war because of illiteracy.

Bausumo Abuida Eliaba, the Administrator of Gbudue State forum made the remarks on a telephone interview with Anisa Radio on Thursday.
