Western Lakes State pupils for their primary leaving exams started on Monday with Christian Religious Education.
State Minister of Education, Dut Makoi Kuok, says there are 2,092 pupils sitting including 662 girls in the state.
Minister Makoi appreciates the state government and security organs for providing safe environment for pupils to smoothly do their exams in the state.
The exams are expected to conclude on Friday
This is the first batch sitting for a unified primary leaving exams in the country since the independence.
