No mother would die during birth, says National Health Minister

The presence of a modern maternity complex in Torit Hospital is going to reduce mortality rate among mothers in Imotong State, says national Minister of Health.
 
Riek Gai Kok says the complex will boost proper supervision of developing babies and mothers through new means like scanning and minimizing risks of death cases, Radio Emmanuel reports.
 
Dr Gai assures citizens that patients seeking x-ray services will no longer travel long distance but get the services form modern maternity complex at Torit Hospital.
 
The National Minister of Health appreciates the people of Canada and their partners for having South Sudan at heart especially in the time of suffering.
 
Dr Gai was speaking during the opening of a modern maternity complex at Torit Hospital on Tuesday.
