An official urged eligible voters in the referendum for self-determination of Southern Sudan to take an active role in the process.
Charles Waliaula works with Women for Women International. He told Good News Radio that southerners should take an active role in the referendum process by turning up at the various referendum centres to register to take part in what he called a bloodless revolution.Mr. Waliaula cautioned Southern Sudanese who register to be sure to vote in order not to compromise the validity of the referendum.
The process of voter registration is going on peacefully in Lakes State, with more men turning up to register than women.
