An Eastern Equatoria Referendum official warned against registration offences that could land perpetrators in prison.

Anisia Karlo Achieng, a member of the referendum commission in Eastern Equatoria, denounced some attempts of double registration and selling and buying of voter cards as illegal, Emmanuel Radio reported.

Ms. Achieng said citizens found guilty of registration tempering faced a fine and at least two years of prison.
