Yei secondary students participated at a one-day conference to learn about the upcoming referendum in order to pass on the word to their families.
Dalli Emmanuel is the program coordinator for Network of Education and Empowerment for Sustainable Services. He told Easter Radio that the conference meant to equip the students with basic knowledge about the referendum process.Mr. Dalli said the students learned about the registration timetable set to kick off on Sunday.
Mr. Dalli added that the students who came from different secondary schools in Yei should pass the information on the referendum to their families and communities
Mr. Dalli said the conference will be repeated Lainya and Morobo counties.
He urged people of South Sudan to participate fully in this upcoming referendum which is to determine their future.
