The Diocese of Malakal is making preparations to hold a youth congress on the pastoral letter the bishops of Sudan wrote about the referendum.
Monsignor Roko Taban Mousa, Apostolic Administrator of Malakal Diocese, announced the youth congress for November 17 at Bakhita Radio yesterday.Mgr. Roko said the youth will determine the future of the south and they cannot be left out of the referendum process.
He added that the congress would concentrate on the Sudan Bishops’ pastoral letter about the referendum and on the Pope’s message to the youth.
Mgr. Roko added that the congress aimed at helping the young generation to get the wisdom to make a right choice at the referendum through prayer, meditation and reflection.
