Issa Abdallah Shangero says that people were coming late to vaccination centres with their children, Radio Voice of Peace reports.

The call came after Nuba authorities launched a three-week polio vaccination campaign targeting Heiban and Umm Dorein Counties.

Abdallah remarks that there is only one week left to end the polio campaign and the recommended age is from one month to ten years old.

The Polio, a highly infectious viral disease causes paralysis which is often permanent.
