Mobile clinic offers free medical check-up in Torit

Imotong State residents on Friday gathered at Torit freedom square for free medical check-up and health awareness from the UN Mission in South Sudan, UNMISS.
 
Joseph Shoma, a Rwanda Battalion Medical doctor says hypertension is one of the non-communicable diseases which can kill.
 
He says they only provide screening and medical advice to those suffering from the diseases.
 
Mary Cummins, UNMISS Chief in Torit hopes that many people will come for general check-up.
 
Dr Margret Itto, Imotong Deputy Governor thanks UNMISS for the initiative and encourage residents to know their health status.
 
Many residents in Imotong state could not afford to pay fees for general checkups before the initiative.
