Western Lakes State Central Peace Committee strongly condemns the recent inter-communal fighting that took place in former Rumbek East on Monday.
The Committee Secretary Marik Nanga Marik urges all people who are involved in the conflict to stop fighting immediately, Radio Good News reports.
He asks any aggrieved party to stop violence and follow the process of the rule of law.
Marik, who is the Speaker of Western Assembly, regrets the bad news of conflict erupting again in the state when people are preparing for cultivation.
Speaker Nanga encourages people to address their grievances to the State Legislative Assembly because it is the house of their representatives.
