South Sudan authorities started today a week of awareness on road safety across the region in a bid to curb the number of accidents and the damage they cause both to people and property.
During the week, officials on road safety will visit schools and road accident victims at Juba Teaching Hospital to demonstrate the need for road safety awareness.The week on road safety will also include the painting of zebra crossings in Juba streets.
The event is organized by GoSS Ministry of Transport and Roads, USAID and other development partners.
