GoSS education ministry is meeting with non governmental organizations to study ways of implementing education programs in Yei Jigomoni Primary School.
Yei River County education director Charles Lumori Justin said the one-day conference was organized to promote education in the county, Easter Radio reported.Mr. Lumori explained that the meeting would enable heads of department and NGOs to share ideas about the challenges and achievements in the county.
He said the conference would help the county education authorities find strategies to move schooling forward.
Mr. Wani Daniel, Ibis-Yei manager, said all citizens were responsible for education, and police, chiefs, parents and teachers played a big role in the development of learning.
About two hundred people attended the conference, including the acting director general for the state ministry of education, NGO representatives and government officials.
