Evangelical Lutheran Church of South Sudan and Sudan made a vote of no confidence for Bishop Wilson Noah in his absence on Thursday during three-day extraordinary convention in Yambio.
Reverend Nicolas Kumbo Luis, Diocesan Dean of Seminary says the convention aims at discussing issues raised against Bishop Wilson Noah in February this year, Radio Anisa reports.
He says the bishop was unable to call for an extraordinary meeting on the fifteenth of June this year.
Bishop Noah was supposed to answer eight questions raised against him by the church.
Reverend Kumbo says Christians found that Bishop Noah was sitting on issues which needed immediate responses.
The convention brought together members from four Deaneries of the Lutheran Church in Equatoria, Bahr el Ghazal and Upper Nile regions.
Radio Anisa could not reach the allegedly ousted bishop for comment.
