The Sudanese Church of Christ in the Nuba Mountains on Monday opened a one-week Bible training in Hieban County.
The course is focusing on faith in action, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
Pastor for the Sudanese Church of Christ, Bolis Abusuana advised all leaders to ask God and stay patiently to assist them in everything that they do.
The pastor noted that the Sudanese Church of Christ is more than nine decades in Nuba Mountains and in September every year, it holds courses for a week.
The pastor added that the workshop will address issues of faith in action.
He urged people to be strong in faith and put into practice what they believe in.
The pastor expressed happiness saying that there was hope because people from different faith groups are celebrating including Eid Al Adha.
The deputy governor of the Nuba Mountains among other secretariats witnessed the opening.
The pastor said that more than one thousand people are attending the course that is expected to end on Saturday.
