Unreliable rainfall could reduce crops production this year in Dalamy County of Nuba Mountains, said Director for Agriculture.
Manzul Anur said the late rain affected farmers and harvest may be little, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
He mentioned that people planted in July, but crops were affected in August due to little rain.
The director said there are no vegetables and fruits in local markets like last year.
He asks God to pour rain cthis month for farmers to plant more crops to substitute the previous months.
Anur advised farmers to use stagnant water in streams to irrigate vegetables and fruits.
