Community Empowerment for Rehabilitation and Development welcomes government’s decision for accepting the deployment of regional intervention force to help the implementation of the peace agreement.
The Organization Executive Director Mawa George Lazarus says the move shows government’s commitment and cooperation to work to bring peace, Radio Easter reports.
The statement follows IGAD official declaration that the government agreed on sending more regional troops into the country.
Mawa also thanks IGAD and other partners for working hard to rebuild the hope of the people by pushing the parties to implement the agreement.
He calls for speedy implementation of the agreement to stop citizens from fleeing the country.
